New reporter joins the Seaway News team

We are pleased to announce that on Monday, August 8, 2022, a new full-time reporter, Krystine Therriault, joined the Seaway News team. Krystine was born and raised in Cornwall and is excited for this opportunity to showcase local people, news, and businesses.

Some of her previous roles include Writer and Community Manager for CrowdCrux, a crowdfunding blog, and Media Communications Specialist for Spartan Spark Inc., a marketing company based out of Calgary, Alberta.

“I moved back to Cornwall in 2018 when I was pregnant with my oldest, after spending eight years in Ottawa,” she shares, “Now, after dedicating four years to staying at home with my kids as much as possible, I’m grateful to have found a job that lets me meet many great people and be more involved in our community.”

When she’s not working, Krystine enjoys spending time with her fiancé and two young boys (one and four years old). Krystine is also passionate about yoga and completed a vinyasa yoga teacher training at Astanga Yoga Ottawa in 2017.
