FRAUD

Cornwall, ON – Aaron Carvery, 33, of Dorval, QC, was arrested on May 8, 2024, and charged with fraud under $5,000. It is alleged on May 8, 2024, the man contacted a senior citizen in the City of Cornwall, and requested $3,000 in cash. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was held for a bail hearing.

 

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Krystal Davidson, 23, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 8, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on May 7, 2023, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 8, 2024, while police were dealing with a separate matter, the woman was located. The warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.

 

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Tina Connors, 51, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 7, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on June 23, 2022, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 7, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on June 27, 2024.

 

UTTERING THREATS 

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Whitford, 46, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 8, 2024, and charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. It is alleged on May 2, 2024, the man threatened to kill an individual. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 8, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 18, 2024.

 

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, DOMESTIC ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, MISCHIEF, UTTERING THREATS

 Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 8, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Domestic assault
  • Domestic assault with a weapon
  • Mischief under $5,000
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm – domestic

On May 8, 2024, police responded to a domestic dispute and an investigation ensued. It is alleged the man previously assaulted his spouse and assaulted her with a weapon. It is also alleged the man damaged her property and made threats toward the woman. The man was later located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

 

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Krystal Parisien, 28, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 9, 2024, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. On May 9, 2024, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of McConnell Avenue and Twelfth Street and an investigation ensued. The woman was located and the investigation revealed she was operating her motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 30, 2024.

 

FAIL TO STOP AFTER ACCIDENT, IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Jonathan Ladouceur, 21, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 9, 2024, and charged with fail to stop after accident, impaired operation and over 80. On May 9, 2024, police conducted a traffic stop in the area of McConnell Avenue and Fourth Street East on a vehicle that was allegedly damaged. An investigation ensued and it was revealed the man was allegedly in a motor vehicle collision and failed to remain at the scene of the accident. Furthermore, the investigation revealed the man was operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 30, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY, ASSAULT, ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, ASSAULT PEACE OFFICER, THEFT

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on May 9, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Fail to comply with release order
  • Assault
  • Assault causing bodily harm – choke, suffocate or strangle
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Assault a peace officer
  • Theft under $5,000

It is alleged on May 9, 2024, the youth was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to follow house rules. It is also alleged on this date, the youth was bound by a release order to remain in her residence during specific hours. Furthermore, it is alleged on May 9, 2024, the youth assaulted her mother, choked her and assaulted her with a weapon. Police were called and an investigation ensued. The investigation also revealed she allegedly stole an item from the residence and left home outside the specific hours outlined in her release order. The youth was located, and while being taken into custody, it is alleged she assaulted a police officer. She was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

 

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 9, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on May 1, 2024, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not attend his ex-girlfriend’s residence. Furthermore, it is alleged on this date, the man attended the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 9, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

 

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Lewis Rising, 33, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 9, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on May 7, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 9, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on June 13, 2024.

 

UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Melanie Lalonde, 37, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 9, 2024, and charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. It is alleged on May 9, 2024, the woman made threats to an individual known to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on June 13, 2024.
