WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Brika Henophy, 40, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 28, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on May 13, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 28, 2024, the woman was located and the warrant was executed. She was released to appear in court on July 11, 2024.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Michael Masson, 37, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 28, 2024, on the strength of outstanding warrants and charged with 16 counts of fail to comply with probation order and six counts of theft under $5,000. It is alleged:

  • On May 28, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On May 24, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On May 22, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On May 18, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
  • On May 6, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
  • On May 3, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
  • Between Oct. 12, 2023, and Nov. 3, 2023, the man was bound by three separate probation orders with the relevant conditions to report in person to a Probation Officer within two working days and after that, at all times and places as directed by the Probation Officer to assist in his supervision, to report by phone to a Probation Officer within two working days and after that, at all times and places as directed by the Probation Officer to assist in his supervision, to report to a Probation Officer immediately and after that, at all times and places as directed by the Probation Officer to assist in his supervision and to live at a place approved by the Probation Officer and to not change that address without obtaining the consent of the Probation Officer in advance. He failedto do so, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On May 28, 2024, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody, the warrants were executed and he was charged accordingly. The man was held for a bail hearing.
