Tribe Announces Resumption of the Community Partnership Fund Program

AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe is pleased to announce the resumption of the Community Partnership Fund. Temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fund provides financial assistance to promote community physical, mental and spiritual health and wellness, along with education and Mohawk culture. The Fund was created for the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort to utilize gaming revenue to directly support community members.

The Fund supports tribal youth for athletic, artistic and educational endeavors. Youth athletic teams, community events, and individual tribal member projects that benefit the Akwesasne community are also eligible for support.

Much of the annual Fund resources support individual funeral assistance contributions and a personal hardship program administered by the Tribe’s Executive Director’s Office and Social Services Division.

Consistent with prior years; organizations and individuals seeking financial assistance must meet the criteria of the Community Partnership Fund, which is located at https://www.srmt-nsn.gov/donations_committee. The Community Partnership Fund Application is also located on the same page, as well as by contacting Betty Roundpoint at (518) 358-2272 extension 2294.

Please deliver the application in-person or mail to:
