CORNWALL, Ontario – The following municipal services and businesses will be affected by the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, Oct. 14.
All City of Cornwall municipal offices will be closed.
Garbage collection will be delayed one day and the landfill will be closed on Oct. 14. The garbage collection schedule can be found here.
Cornwall Transit buses will not be running on Thanksgiving Monday and their office will be closed.
The Cornwall Public Library will also be closed on Oct. 14.
The Benson Centre will be open for regular programming and the Cornwall Civic Complex will be open for walkers from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Grocery stores such as Food Basics will be closed on Monday, as will the LCBO, the Cornwall Square and most of the Beer Stores. The Beer Store location on Sydney St. will be open.
Shopper’s Drug Mart on Second St. E. will be open.
