Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Saturday, July 26, 2008. Andrew Barry McIntyre of Alexandria; age 61 years. Husband of Cheryl McIntyre (nee Morris). Loving father of Todd (Kim) of Martintown, Mary Lynn of Martintown and Ashley of Halifax. Proud grandfather of Hannah, Thomas and Liam. Dear brother of Merv (Cathy) of Edmonton, Alberta; Lorne (Jean) of Cornwall; Ian (Cindy) of St. Andrews and the late Irwin. Son of the late Grigor Stewart McIntyre and the late Hazel McIntyre (nee Dewar). Rested at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. A memorial service was held at Maxville United Church on Thursday, July 31. Interment of Cremated Remains followed at North Branch Cemetery, Martintown.

Surrounded by her husband and five daughters at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Friday, July 25. Sherry Rose Marie (Legault) Burke, who volunteered her time to the benefit of our community; formerly of Second Street East; age 70 years. Sherry was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. Beloved wife for 50 years of Neil Burke. Dear mother of Mary Burke-Cameron (Eric) of Ottawa, Karen Abraham (Brian) of Long Sault, Colleen Burke (Mitchell) of Summerstown, Kelly Burke (Michael) of Toronto and Jennifer Burke (Mark) of Cornwall. Loving grandmother of Megan, Steven, Burke, Bailey, Geoffrey, Andrew, Ian, Neil, Patrick and Adriana. Dear daughter of the late Charles Legault and the late Myrtle (Pitts) Legault. Dear sister of Corinne Dicaire (Rene) and Kathleen Small (Gordon) both of Cornwall, Lisa Marvell (Richard) of Williamstown and Francoise Legault (David) of Montreal, Quebec. Rested at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, West Branch. The funeral took place on Tuesday, July 29, for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Columban’s Church, followed by cremation.
MASSON – Lorraine Thelma (Lenneau)
At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday, July 25, 2008. She was 55. She leaves her loving husband of 14 years, Edgar Masson. Dear mother of Victoria Cryderman (Darrin), Raymond Pond, David Masson and Tina-Louise Lapensee (Michael). Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Alyssa, Brennan, Crystal and Michel and one great grandchild, Brianna. Survived by 7 sisters, Lorette Merpaw (Vince), Therese Marsolais (Jimmy), Lydia Beckstead, Alberta Primeau (James), Pauline Bolton (Brian), Alice Galway, Roxanne D’Aoust and 4 brothers, Albert Lenneau Jr. (Judy), Paul Lenneau (Karen), Francois Lenneau (Diane), Rodolphe Lenneau (Sandra). Predeceased by one son, Gary Masson, her parents Albert and Lauretta (Poitras) Lenneau and one brother Rene Lenneau.

Mrs. Marjorie McGonegal (Lemoyre) of Cornwall at the Cornwall Community Hospitall – McConnell site on Friday, July 25, 2008, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Vernon Lemoyre and the late Alan McGonegal. Loving mother of Ted Lemoyre, Halifax; Tim Lemoyre (Nancy), Ottawa; and Thomas Lemoyre, Oshawa; and mother-in-law of Christine O’Donohue, Toronto. Dear sister of Robert Pimm, Leo Pimm (Doreen), Arthur Pimm (Joan) and Gordon Pimm (June). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Joel, David, Timothy, Allison, Matthew, Meghan, Colin and Katie. Predeceased by her parents Robert Pimm of Staines, England and Zoe (Zadie) LeBoutillier of Gaspé, Quebec and by son Geoffrey Lemoyre. Rested at Wilson Funeral Hom. Mr. Lionel Benoit passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site. Age 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Therese Farlet. Dear father of Geraald Benoit of Ottawa, Rejean Benoit (Colette) of Cornwall, Francoise Benoit of Ottawa, Claire Benoit of Orleans and Monique Benoit (Francine) of Smiths Falls. Dear brother of Rolland Benoit (late Helene) of Crysler, Richard Benoit (Helene) of Barrie, Ontario, Therese Richer (late Rosaaire) of Crysler and Rollande Beehler (Ralph) of Berwick. Also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Dear son of the late Joseph Benoit and the late Berthilde Racine. Predeceased by three daughters, Lorraine Benoit, Jacqueline Geneau and Claudette Lefebvre and three brothers, Eugene (Irene), Leo-Paul (late Lilianne) and Fernand (Laurette) Benoit. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Christy (Grant) Cameron. Hazel was the beloved wife of the late Harold Kuhn. Dear mother of Art (Joan), Cornwall, Thomas (Linda) Chatham, ad the late Leonard Kuhn (Mary MacMillina), Morrisburg. Cherished grandmother of Cindy Kuhn Scott (Dan Hodl) Calgary, Alberta, Heather Kuhn, Cornwall, Kevin Kuhn, Canmore, Alberta, Chris Kuhn (Shannon), Tim Kuhn (Karen Stallaert), Matt Kuhn (Lindsay Densmore) all of Chatham and Terri Kuhn of Alexandria. Great grandmother of Stephanie Scott of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Shawn and Shane Scott of Calgary, Alberta, Tyler, Jesse and Jodie Kuhn-Locey of Cornwall and Riley and Jackson Kuhn of Chatnam. Passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, age 75 years. She leaves her loving husband of almost 57 years, Rolland Vachon. Survived by one sister, Margaret Morin (Dollard). Passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre in Cornwall, Ontario. Miss Anita Lalonde, age 79 years. Dear daughter of the late Oscar Lalonde and the late Marie Gignac. Dear aunt of Robert Sauve, Pierre Sauve (Kathy), Paul Sauve (Debbie) and Helene (Mrs. John Rehel) all of Cornwall. Survived by 10 grand nieces and nephews and 3 great-grand nieces. Predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Pauline Sauve. Rested at the Boulerice Funeral Home Ltd. Funeral Services were held on July 25 for Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Co-Cathedral, Cornwall. Interment, Nativity Cemetery, Cornwall.
McBRIDE – William (Bill) John
Passed away suddenly at his residence in Cornwall on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Devoted husband of 52 years to Joyce McBride (née Boon). Proud father of Madeline McBride (David) of Ottawa, Mary McGee (Denis) of Lindsay, Marlene Murphy of Toronto and Lorraine McBride of Barrie. Loving grandfather of seven grandchildren Michel, Taylor, Heather, Elizabeth, Jack, Mackenzie and Connor. Dear son of the late Ernest and Jeannette (Joy) McBride. Sadly missed by his sister Marjorie Jackson of Toronto. Funeral took place on Monday, July 28 in the Chapel of Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Toronto. Mr. William McBride was a retired Forester of Domtar Forest Products, a graduate of the University of Toronto Forestry Class of 1957, longtime supporter of Kiwanis and avid curler and sportsman.
