Passed away at Parisien Manor on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the age of 88 years formerly of Long Sault. Retired employee of TCF, Retired member of the Township of Cornwall Fire Department – Long Sault (30 years) and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Long Sault Branch #569. Beloved husband of the late Inez Seguin (née Raymond). Loving father of Peter Seguin (Evelyn) of Toronto. Dear brother of Paul Seguin (Mildred), Charlie Seguin (Jacqueline), Jeanne MacGillivray (late Howard) all of Cornwall and Robea Paré (Bert) of Ottawa. Predeceased by his parents Dorima and Cerilda (Desjardins) Seguin, four brothers Rosaire, Leon, Gilbert (Doreen) and Reverend Herbie Seguin and two sisters Juliette and Marie. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Rested at Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral took place on Thursday, August 28 with Mass of the Ressurrection with Commendation and Farewell in St. Andrews Catholic Church. Rite of Committal at a later date.

Passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Sunday, August 24, 2008. Mrs. Thérèse (Rouleau) Menard Charbonneau of Cornwall, Ontario, age 79 years. Beloved wife of Georges Charbonneau and by a previous marriage, the late Paul Emile Menard. Dear mother of Gerald Menard (Fay) and Suzanne Menard (Ron Seguin), both of Cornwall and Michel Menard of Vancouver, BC. Dear step-mother of Nicole McCrank (Glen) of Winnipeg, MB. Loving grandmother of Lori (Al), Lisa (Martin), Mecca and Mylar of Vancouver, BC, Marc, Michelle, Alana, Michael and Kevin and great-grandmother of Tristan and Cailyn. Dear daughter of the late Joseph Rouleau and the late Albertine (Pilon) Rouleau. Dear sister of Jeannette Rozon of St. Isidore de Prescott, Leonie Villeneuve of Cornwall and Estelle Bougie of Hawkesbury, Ontario. Predeceased by one brother, Roger Rouleau and by two sisters, Lucille Boulanger and Aline Desrosiers. Therese will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Cremation. Passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Woodland Villa, Long Sault at the age of 83 years, formerly of Montreal. Dear son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Gilbert) Puzey. Predeceased by his wife Isobel (Boyce). Survived by his nephew Thomas Ross (Nancy), nieces Dorothy Ross (Andre Lavoie), Dianne Ross (Normand Desloges), Barbara Guglick (Robert), great-nephew Michael Guglick, great-niece Kelly Guglick and special caregiver Susan Brown. Predeceased by his sister Margaret Ross. A private family graveside service has taken place.

Loving grandmother of John, David, Kenneth, Laura, Scott and Glen and great-grandmother of Melissa Kosowan, Joshua, Sydney, MacKenzie, Sarah and Sophia Viau. Predeceased by one granddaughter, Sherry. Dear daughter of the late John Poirier and the late Alphonsine (Ménard) Poirier. Rested at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, Cornwall. Dear mother of Daniel DeSerres (Brenda) of Portage La Prairie, Quebec, Thaddée Laporte (Dan) of Kingston, Ontario, Marie-Rita Balogh (Derrick) of Cornwall and Suzanne Dupuis of Ottawa, Ontario. Dear sister of Gerald DeSerres (Suzanne) of U.S.A. and Ghislaine Poirier of Cornwall. Survived by four grandchildren, Kevin, Lisa, Katie and Lindsey and six great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Zepherin DeSerres and the late Ivette Croteau. Predeceased by two brothers, Jean-Marc and André DeSerres and two sisters, Monique Audet (Vic) and Nicole Quenneville. Cremation in South Branch Crematorium, Cornwall. A Memorial Service was held in the Chapel of Boulerice Funeral Home Ltd. Cornwall, on Aug. 23.
