Cornwall man arrested for fraud

CORNWALL, Ontario – Jeremy Myers, 24, of Cornwall, was arrested on Dec. 10, 2018 and charged with the following:

  • Fraud under $5,000 x 4
  • Possession of property obtained by crime x 4
  • Breach of probation for failing to keep the peace

It is alleged on Aug. 13, 2018, the man attended numerous businesses in the City of Cornwall and used a stolen bank card. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 10, 2018, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Jan. 15, 2019.
