CORNWALL, Ontario – A 14-year-old resident of Cornwall was arrested on Aug. 10 and charged with the following:
Theft of a motor vehicle
Theft under $5000
Breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace
On Aug. 8, the youth allegedly took a motor vehicle, belonging to his friend’s father, without permission.
It is alleged that the youth also removed an airsoft gun from the residence.
The youth was taken into custody and charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
His name has not been released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
