MORRISBURG, Ontario – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently on the scene of a two vehicle collision on County Rd. 2, South Dundas Township.

Preliminary Investigation has indicated that at approximately 3:11 p.m., a passenger vehicle was travelling east bound on County Rd. 2, South Dundas Township, when for reasons still under investigation entered into the westbound lane and collided head on with a westbound tractor trailer.

The driver (adult male) of the passenger vehicle has been transported to the hospital, with serious non-life threatening injuries.

The driver (adult male) of the tractor trailer was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A section of County Road 2 at Upper Canada Rd. and Morrison Rd. is closed to traffic.

SD&G OPP, assisted by OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI) continue to investigate.
