NORTH GLENGARRY, Ontario – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently at the scene of a two vehicle collision on County Rd. 20 in North Glengarry Twp.
Preliminary investigation has indicated that at approximately 12:53 p.m., a minivan was travelling northbound on County Rd. 20 when, for reasons under investigation, collided with a southbound pick-up truck.
The adult driver (lone occupant) of the northbound minivan was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The adult driver (lone occupant) of the pick-up truck received no injuries.
Names are being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
SD&G OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
As the investigation continues, Detours are in place on County Rd. 20 at County Rd. 25 and Kenyon Concession 1, North Glengarry Twp.
