SUMMERSTOWN – Fraser Creek Pizza Farm celebrated their official opening on August 13, 2022, serving their homemade, wood fire cooked pizzas to visitors, accompanied by live music and locally brewed beer.

Farm Owners Dareck and Laura White focus on sustainable farming practices on their property located on County Road 2 near Summerstown. Dareck and Laura started Fraser Creek Pizza Farm, a take-out pizza business, offering customers homemade pizzas with ingredients grown or raised on their farm or sourced from local farmers and businesses. To mark the occasion, they invited local musician Issabel Charbonneau to provide live music and Rurban Brewery from Cornwall to sell beer to guests.

South Glengarry Mayor Lyle Warden, Deputy Mayor Jaworski and Councillor Sam McDonell attended a formal ribbon cutting ceremony, presenting the Whites with a certificate to commemorate the occasion.

“It’s a pleasure to celebrate Fraser Creek Pizza Farm’s official launch today and witness Dareck and Laura’s commitment to sustainability,” said Mayor Warden. “It’s great to have pizza in South Glengarry that is homemade and from locally grown sources”.

This inaugural celebration was held from 12:00 – 7:00 pm at Fraser Creek Farm, located at 19569 County Road 2 in Summerstown, Ontario.
