BREACHES: A 15 year old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 4th of October 2011. The youth was bound by probation orders and an undertaking with the with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 18th of September 2011 the youth he sold a dirt bike which was reported stolen. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, 2 counts of Breach Of Probation and 1 count of Breach of Undertaking. He was held in custody until court the following day. The youth’s name was not released as per provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
A 15 year old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 4th of October 2011. The youth was bound by a probation order and an undertaking with the condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. The youth was also bound by a Recognizance with the condition to not be away from my residence between the hours of 7pm and 7am, except in the presence of a youth worker, and to abstain from the consumption of alcohol absolutely. It is alleged that that on the 30th of September 2011, the youth was found to be away from her residence and under the influence of alcohol. Police were contacted and the youth was charged accordingly. The youth’s name was not released as per provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
A 12 year old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 4th of October 2011. The youth was bound by a recognizance with the conditions to reside at a specific residence, abide by the rules of that residence, not to move from that residence unless your parents move, not to be away from my residence except for school, only for a half hour before and a half hour after school, or only with your mother, father or their designate and attend school without truancy. It is alleged that on the 29th of October 2011, the youth was truant from school and failed to return home. He was later located at 11:00 pm by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Patrol Division. He was charged accordingly and held for court the following day. The youth’s name was not released as per provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Jessica Coleman, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on the 4th of October, 2011. She was bound by a conditional sentence order with the condition of a curfew from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. It is alleged that between the 3rd and 4th of October, 2011, she left the residence and was thus not abiding by her curfew. She was located and charged accordingly. She was held in custody until court the following day.
THEFT UNDER, OBSTRUCT POLICE AND BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE: Jessica Zeisig, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on 4th of October 2011. She was bound by a recognizance to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 4th of October 2011, she attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise. She was detained by the store’s loss prevention officer and turned over to the Cornwall Community Police Patrol Division. Further investigation released that she provided a false name. She was charged with theft under $5000, obstruct police and breach of recognizance. She was held in custody for court the following day.
WARRANTS: Anthony Meckley, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on the 4th of October 2011 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on the 22nd of August 2011 he failed to attend court and a bench warrant was issued. He was held in court until court later that day.
A 17 year old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 4th of October 2011 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that the youth failed to attend court on the 25th of September 2011. The youth was located by police and released to attend court on the 27th of October 2011. The youth’s name was not released as per provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Vincenzo Ciccone, 71 of Cornwall was arrested on the 4th of October 2011 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on the 25th of November 2010 the male harassed a 59 year old female tenant. He was located and released to appear in court on the 20th of October 2011.
Lance Burgess, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on the 4th of October 2011 under the strength of an outstanding Probation warrant. It is alleged that the male failed to report to the probation office, to notify probation of any change in address and to attend for treatment as directed by probation officer. The male was located and released to attend court on the 25th of October 2011 to answer to the charges.
THREATS & BREACH OF UNDERTAKING: Amanda MacMillan, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on the 4th of October 2011. She was bound by an undertaking to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 4th of October 2011 she threatened a 46 year old female known to her. She was charged with uttering a death threat and breach of undertaking. She was released to attend court on the 20th of October 2011.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, UTTER THREATS, BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE & BREACH OF PROBATION: A 27 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 5th of October 2011. He was bound by Probation Orders with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to abstain from the purchase/possession/consumption of alcohol absolutely or from being where it is sold save restaurants. He was also bound by a Recognizance with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, not to be away from your residence between the hours of 10:00 pm and 6:00 am except for your work purposes according to a schedule provided to the court, or for educational purposes, abstain from the consumption of alcohol absolutely or being found anyplace where alcohol is sold. It is alleged that between the 7th of September 2011 and the 5th of October 2011, he assaulted his 26 year old girlfriend on 3 separate occasions, uttered death threats and consumed alcohol. The victim did not suffer any injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 3 counts of domestic assault, 2 counts of utter death threats, 4 counts of breach of probation and 3 counts of breach of recognizance. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
