IMPAIRED DRIVER

SOUTH GLENGARRY, Ontario – On Aug. 5, 2019 at approximately 12:33 a.m., Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a traffic complaint on South Service Rd., South Glengarry Township.

Investigation revealed that the adult driver was under the influence of alcohol and resisted arrest by officers.

Evelyn Lindhorst, 67, of South Glengarry, Ont., was arrested and is charged with;

– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired

– Drive a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on Aug. 22, 2019.

IMPAIRED DRIVER

SOUTH STORMONT, Ontario- On Aug. 5, 2019 at approximately 2:10 a.m., Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Anderson Rd., South Stormont Township.

Investigation revealed that the adult driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Cameron Kennedy, 25, of South Stormont, Ont., was arrested and is charged with;

– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired

– Drive a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on Aug. 29, 2019.

IMPAIRED DRIVER

SOUTH STORMONT, Ontario – On Aug. 5, 2019 at approximately 7:19 p.m., Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a traffic complaint and a report that the vehicle had been involved in a single vehicle collision on County Road 2, South Stormont Township.

SD&G OPP located the vehicle and driver with the Investigation revealing that the adult driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Michael McCoy, 58, of Cornwall, Ont., was arrested and is charged with;

– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired

– Drive a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood

– Fail to remain (Highway Traffic Act)

– Fail to report damage to property on highway (HTA)

– Fail to report accident (HTA)

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on Aug. 22, 2019.
