CORNWALL, Ontario – Hundreds of survivors and supporters rallied in Maxville Friday for an overnight event that raised over $250,000 to help fight cancer.
A total of 93 teams circled the Maxville Fairgrounds for 12 hours to help rid the world of this deadly disease.
“It was fabulous night, and that’s exactly what we were hoping for,” said Carolyn Bourassa, community manager of the SDG & Prescott-Russell branch of the Canadain Cancer Society (CCS).
