CORNWALL, Ontario – The Polar Prince carrying the C3 Expedition arrived in Cornwall early in the morning on Thursday, June 8.

Pledging to travel from coast-to-coast-to-coast, the C3 Expedition left from Toronto earlier this month and Cornwall is one of only three inland ports at which it is stopping.

The Polar Prince is carrying 60 people on board including representatives from across the country. The expedition plans on completing its journey in 150 days to mark Canada’s sequecentennial. The ship will travel for more than 23, 000 km.

The Polar Prince, a former icebreaker with the Canadian Coast Guard arrived at the Port of Cornwall at a little bit before 7 a.m.

The ship held activities in the morning for the citizens of Cornwall who wanted to come down to the water to pay them a visit.
