CORNWALL, Ontario – Cornwall Street Crime Unit members arrested two local residents on April 1 for several drug-related and weapons charges.
Cornwallites Cory Brisson, 33, and Chelsy Hart, 24, are facing a slew of charges after city cops conducted a search warrant at a Seymour Street address on Tuesday.
Police confiscated six grams of cocaine – a street value of $600; two Percocet pills – a street value of $20; 136.4 grams of marijuana – a street value of $1,364; brass knuckle knife; nunchucks; and a quantity of Canadian currency.
As a result both were arrested and charged as follows:
Chelsy Hart:
• Possession of Cocaine
• Possession of Percocet
• Possession of Marijuana
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
• Possession of property obtained by crime
• Possession of a weapon
She was later released to appear in court on May 15.
Cory Brisson:
• Possession of Cocaine
• Possession of Percocet
• Possession of Marijuana
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
• Possession of property obtained by crime
• Possession of a weapon X2
• Breach of probation X1
• Breach of a prohibition order
He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
