UPDATE: Fourth person arrested in Carleton Street drug bust

UPDATE: As a result of a warrant that was executed on August 9th, 2016 at a Carleton Street address Cheryl David, 56 of Cornwall was arrested on August 11th, 2016 and charged with the following:

Possession of cocaine.

Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Possession of marijuana.

Possession of methamphetamine.

Possession of property obtained by crime.

She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

CORNWALL, Ontario – On August 9, 2016 members of the Cornwall Street Crime Unit executed a drug warrant at a Carleton Street address with the assistance of members of the Cornwall Emergency Response Team. As a result of the warrant a quantity of marijuana, cocaine, hash, methamphetamine and Canadian currency was located.

Wayne Bigtree, 57 of Cornwall was arrested and charged as follows: 

  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of cocaine for the Purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of Hash 
  • Proceeds of crime  
  • Possession of marijuana 
  • Possession for the Purpose of trafficking Marijuana 
  • Cultivation of Marijuana

Joseph Morrisette, 42 and Jennifer Crepin, 38 both of Cornwall were also arrested and charged as follows: 

  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of cocaine for the Purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of Hash 
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Proceeds of crime  
  • Possession of marijuana 

All three were released to appear in court at a later date.
