CORNWALL, Ontario – Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a two-car collision on Brookdale Avenue on Wednesday morning.
Cornwall police and paramedics were at the scene of the crash which happened just before 9:00 a.m.
A silver Grand Prix was heading north on Brookdale Avenue when it collided with a small red car turning left going east on Thirteenth Street.
A witness at the scene said at least one person could be seen being taken away from the accident on a stretcher.
“Both vehicles sustained severe front-end damage in what appeared to be a head-on collision,” he said.
Additional paramedics were at the scene because EMS used the accident to help augment their training, Cornwall Police Cst. Dan Cloutier said.
The accident is still under police investigation.
