CORNWALL, Ontario – Many services and stores will be closed this Thanksgiving Monday, Oct. 8.
Here is a guide to what is open and closed this Monday:
– There will be no garbage and recycling pick up on Monday. Regular collection will move forward a day. If your waste is usually collected Monday, it will be collected Tuesday.
– The landfill will be closed on Monday.
– There will be no bus service and Cornwall Transit services will be closed.
– The Cornwall Public Library will be closed.
– City Hall and municipal offices will be closed.
– Civic Complex offices will be closed, but the building will remain open for walkers and joggers.
– The Benson Centre will remain open.
– The Aquatic Centre will be open for leisure swims only at 1 to 1:55 p.m. and 2 to 3:35 p.m.
– Baxtrom’s Your Independent Grocer will be closed.
– The Beer Store and LCBO will be closed.
– Shoppers Drug Mart will remain open.
