BREACH OF CONDITIONAL SENTENCE ORDER

CORNWALL, Ontario – Elton Cox, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on July 17, 2019 for breaching his conditional sentence order. It is alleged the man had consumed alcohol, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation he was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.

 CONTINUED INVESTIGATION INTO COLLISION INVOLVING A TODDLER

 CORNWALL, Ontario – On Wednesday July 10, 2019 at approximately 4:15  p.m., a beige/brown four-door sedan with silver rims struck a toddler that was being pushed in a stroller in the area of Sydney St. and Fifth St. The driver, who is believed to be a male between the ages of 50 and 60, fled the scene. The toddler was transported to the hospital, sustaining minor injuries.

The Cornwall Police Service is continuing to ask that anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have information pertaining to the driver or vehicle to please contact Cst. Patrick Depratto at 613-933-5000 ext. 2734 or by email at depratto.p@cornwallpolice.com.
