Cornwall hosts Provincial Seniors Baseball Tournament

CORNWALL, Ontario – Cornwall’s senior boys team the Cornwall Royals played some tight baseball during the provincial tournament held in Cornwall at Legion Ball Park from July 3 to July 5.

Cornwall faced off against four other Ontario teams.

Going into the finals of the tournament, the Cornwall Royals had not lost a single game.

The Provincial Championship game against the Orleans Red Sox was a close fight, but Orleans squeaked out a victory against the hometown team 4-3.

The Orleans Red Sox will now go to the Boys Seniors national tournament in Calgary, AB.
