Cornwall, Ontario – The Cornwall Colts find themselves in a challenging position after losing the first two games of the second round in the Jr. A CCHL hockey playoffs against the Smiths Falls Bears. In Game 1, which took place on April 5 in Smith Falls, the Colts were narrowly defeated 2-1. Bradley Fraser scored the lone goal for Cornwall, while goalie Donald Hickey made an impressive 30 saves out of 32 shots.

The second game, held on April 7 in Cornwall, saw a similar outcome, with the Bears clinching a 2-1 victory. Nathan Garnier managed to net the only goal for the Colts, and once again, Donald Hickey showcased his skills by stopping 31 of 33 shots. Hickey’s outstanding performance earned him the second star in both games. The turning point in Game 2 came when Matthew Martin-Gaudreault scored at 15:45 in the third period, securing the win for the Bears.
