CORNWALL, Ontario – We 3 Girls & Co. presents the fourth annual Trunk Sale and Pamper Me Party, in support of the MS Society.
“It’s like the ultimate shopping day,” said Debbie Poirier Burns, co-organizer, We 3 Girls & Co. “It’s a getting-out day for the ladies, to do some Christmas shopping, have a little bite to eat listen to music, be pampered, spend time with their friends. All at the same time they are helping out the MS Society every time they purchase something. What more could you ask for?”
The popular even already has over 70 vendors booked, old and new faces, including artisans, fashion, jewelry, home décor and so much more.
“It’s not a craft show, not a trade show,” said Poirier Burns, who explained that they wanted their even to be a one-of-a-kind, unique show. “We’re pretty selective about who is going to be there.”
New this year will be an addition of a tent, which will house the food and live entertainment. “There’s going to be a lot of food there,” she said, “Bar Q, Dish, The Quirky Carrot, Eight Zero Zero, and Mustache Joe’s.” And of course, hot apple cider.
For the “pamper me part” of the event, attendees can have nails done, get an up-do, and have their makeup done. There will also be massage therapists on hand.
To facilitate the large crowd in attendance, this year, there will be a separate entrance for those who pre-purchase their tickets. “This will get them in quickly.”
“The atmosphere is great out at Marlin’s,” said Poirier Burns. “There’s so much charm about that place. It’s a feel good feeling for the whole day.”
Last year’s event raised $15,OOO, which benefited the local chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Organizers would like to thank the Lunan family, for providing their home for the event.
The Trunk Sale and Pamper Me Party will be held on Sunday, November 3, from 10 am to 4 pm, at Marlin Orchards and Garden Centre, 6864 Orchard Rd. in South Glengarry, from 10am to. An ATM will be on site.
