CORNWALL, Ontario – Eleven carvers, including yours truly competed to carve the best pumpkin for Hospice Cornwall at the Cornwall Square on Friday, October 28. Ultimately though, Hopsice Cornwall was the real winners, with the contestants raising nearly $2, 500 for their cause.
The winner of the bragging rights for best pumpkin however was Bernard St. Pierre of Lahaie & Sullivan Funeral Home. St. Pierre carved his pumpkin into a fish bowl complete with coloured lighting and a pumpkin fish.
