SULLIVAN-LABROSSE – Donalda

Passed away at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge on Sunday, March 15, 2009, age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilbrod Labrosse (1991) and by a previous marriage, the late Joseph Sullivan (1963). Dear mother of Helen Deruchia (late Albert), Jean Cornett (Ernest), Elizabeth “Betty” Chouinard (Elie) and M. John Sullivan (Hélène). Predeceased by one daughter Joyce Brunet (Robert J.). Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, Brenda, Chantal (Claude), Michelle (Jon), Bobby, D’Arcy Lynn (Gilles), Joey (Chantal) and 7 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Abigale, Megan, Britany, Colton, Taylor and Lukas. Predeceased by one grandson, Richard (Ricky). Survived by one sister, Hilda Grenier of Montreal. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Alexandre and Sarah (Dupuis) Gervais, 4 brothers, Edward (late Maureen), Romeo (late Adrienne), Rene and Maurice (Thérèse) and one sister Rita (Bernard). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt St. (across from City Hall), Cornwall on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Wednesday from 9-9:30am. Funeral Mass Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at St. Columban’s Catholic Church at 10am. Rite of Committal, St. Columban’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge (Palliative Care) would be appreciated by the family.

CANOUGH – David

Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, on Saturday, March 14, 2009, age 70 years. Dear husband of Dallas (née Crites) for 45 years. Cherished father of Lerelei (Kevin) Kimmett of Winchester, Ontario and Trudie (Bob) Hall of Peterborough, Ontario. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Alyssa, Chelsea, Bobby, David and Beth. Survived by sisters, Lorna (late Dale) Marcellus, Lenora (late Lorne) Salmon, Rita and Shirley (John) Fawcett. Predeceased by parents, Edward and Alice (née Gillard). Dear son-in-law of Elburn (late Dorothy) Crites. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home, MacDougall Chapel & Reception Centre, 14815 Cty. Rd. 2, Ingleside, Ontario, on Monday, March 16, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A service in celebration of David Canough’s life will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Riverside Heights, on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 2pm. Reverend Bill Byers officiating. For those wishing, donations to the Toronto Sick Kids Hospital, c/o the Elizabeth Grace Kimmett Endowment Fund Towards Pediatric Cardiac Research or to the Arthritis Society would be gratefully acknowledge by the family.
