Colts tied for 2nd in CCHL

CORNWALL, Ontario - Brennan Markell’s 17th goal of the season was the overtime winner as the Colts beat the Raiders 3-2 in overtime in Nepean.

It’s the Colts fourth straight victory and vaults them in a tie for 2nd overall in the CCHL standings at 32-13-2-3 (69 pts).

Matt Efros made 28 saves in goal as the Colts outshot the Raiders 39-30.

Shawn Baird (5) and JD Pogue (15) also scored for the Colts.

Cornwall will host Brockville this Thursday at the Ed Lumley Arena.  Game time is 7:30pm.
