CORNWALL, Ontario – The Seaway International Wine Festival is a signature event for Cornwall that attracts many visitors and tourists to our city every year.

The 17th annual event took place on Jan. 18 at the Ramada by Wyndham Cornwall. It was another
wonderful evening of food, wine, beer and entertainment, enjoyed by a SOLD OUT crowd. The annual event also raises funds for a local charity and this year, $11,650 was raised for the River Institute.

“Our thanks go to Ramada Cornwall and all of the sponsors and donors who supported this amazing event,” said Jeff Ridal, Executive Director at the River Institute.“This donation will go directly to research, education and community-based projects that relate to the health of the river right here in Cornwall. We are very grateful.”

Organizers at Ramada by Wyndham Cornwall wish to recognize event sponsors Winmar Cornwall and Pommier Jewellers, as well as all of the event donors and contributors.

“This event keeps growing and getting better every year,” said Scott Lecky, Owner at Ramada Cornwall. “We are proud to be able to combine a fun event with a fundraiser for a local cause, and the River Institute is an amazing environmental organization. We are happy to support all of their work to protect our river.”
