CORNWALL, Ontario – Work has begun on a new tire and lube operation that will be located on Brookdale Avenue.
Pro Oil Change is building 13 new facilities, mostly in Ontario, and Cornwall is on the list.
Ken Bedford, a senior planner with the City of Cornwall, confirmed the tire and lube centre will anchor a development that include at least one more operation, perhaps two.
“There will be some different uses,” said Bedford. “There could be the potential for a restaurant there too.”
Demolition of an existing home is already taking place, but construction of the new facility like won’t begin until the new year.
A Pro Oil Change representative could not be reached for comment.
