CORNWALL, Ontario – Ryan Mitchell, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 18, 2018 and charged with the following:
• Mischief under $5,000
• Theft under $5,000
• Breach of probation x three (for failing to report a change of address and failing to keep the peace)
• Breach of undertaking x three (for failing to abide by curfew, failing to report a change of address, and failing to keep the peace)
It is alleged during the early morning hours on Aug. 14, 2018, the man entered two apartment building laundry rooms and damaged washing machines in order to remove a quantity of money from the machines. On Nov. 18, 2018, police located the man in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
